At affaroni.ch there is an online store that lets you buy many different products, nicely from your house and have them shipped at home. Using the online store is not hard all: just follow these steps. 
| The catalogue1. By visiting affaroni.ch, I can browse the catalogue of products organized into categories. To choose a more specific product, I just have to choose the relevant subcategory (see also the catalogue tree on the left). | 
| Product categories2. Once in the category that I want to explore, I pick the article I want by simply clicking once on its title. When hovering the mouse over products, you'll notice the product row is highlighted in yellow.

| Product page3. I land on the product page: here, I can read some more informations regarding the product - including the price and, when available, the discount. The product name is clearly indicated on the blue bar. Under such bar, on the opposite side of the price, I can specify the amount of the article I want to purchase. I confirm the quantity by clicking on the "Add to cart" button. For example, I can purchase 3 packs of biscuits.
In some cases, some products are sold in pieces and not as one piece (for exemple, see the "Food packaging" category). This is indicated in the product name ("p" stands for "pieces"): 50 p, 100 p, 250, p and no on
Each time I do add an item to the cart, a pop up con firms the action:

| Keep an eye on my cart4. In the right column I can keep track of what I'm purchasing, ithe quantity and the total. If my cart contains at least fr. 30.00 worth of purchases, I can proceed to checkout and pay my order. Otherwise, I have to browse more categories, adding more items as explained in points 1-3. Until my cart reaches the minimum expense. | 
| Create an account / log in
5. When I'm through with my order and if I've reached the minimum expense, then I can go on. If this is my first time on affaroni.ch, I have to create a personal account: this allows me to create a shipping address and a billing one as well. This way, the tem over affaroni.ch will always know where to ship my orders. Izt's advised to write down your username and your password, since I'll need to login every time I decide to make a new order.
On the contrary, if I've already purchased in the past on affaroni.ch, then I sure have an account. I'll just need to log in through the form ("My account") on the left column. Of course, it is mandatory to give your real informations (valid e-mail, real address). To see if I'm already logged in, the "My account" menu should look like this:

| Review my order 6. Once logged in, I can review my order in progress. During this phase, you have not been charged a cent . I can examine my order: articles are displayed in a list. I can modify the amount of a product or I can even delete an article I don't want to buy anymore. Everything happens in real time. Click on the button to proceed. |  | Add a shipping address7. If necessary, I can add a new shipping address. So I can pay my order with my VISA, Mastercard or Postfinance, yet the package is sent to my parents', friends' or wife's address - as long as it's in Switzerland! Addresses are stored in a database, so I don't have to reenter over and over the adddress. | 
| Getting ready for the payment8. I can still see my order but this is the last step before the payment. Shipping method remains the same for all orders: PostPac Priority. If my order total is at least fr. 150.00, then all shipping costs are free. Shall I need to write a message to the team of affaroni.ch, there is a box for that. For every order I place, I must accept the terms of sale.

9. I can choose to pay either by advanced payment (bill), or by real time payment via the PostFinance gateway. Shall I decide to pay in advance, just confirm the order and wait for our bill to be shipped to you by mail. Shall I go for

10. If I've chosen to pay my order straight away
PostFinance, I have to pick one payment method among those offered. There are 4 images
(PostCard, e-finance, VISA o Mastercard): for each method, I'm going to be directed to the actual, safe PostFinance gateway for the online transaction. |

11. The very last step is to actually pay my order through the PostFinance platform. I could cancel my payment at the last moment but PostFinance will not let me repeat the payment procedure for the same order twice.
I'm going to receive an order confirmation. Once the transaction has been successfully completed, I'm brought back to affaroni.ch. A short message confirms my order has been completed. |
